The train is around a 12 minute walk from Dar Corniche La Marsa. It serves La Marsa – Tunis, stopping at all stations in the northern suburbs of Tunis.

Taxis

Compared to Western cities, taxis in Tunisia are very cheap. Outside office hours, it is very easy to find one.

Fees: at starting 0.500 TND (0.15 €) and 1.000 TND (0.30 €) per kilometer, between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM fees are increased by 50%.

Maximum Passengers : 4 including the driver. A red light behind the windshield means the taxi is free. A green light, means the taxi is occupied. If the sign on top of the taxi’s roof is absent, it means that the taxi is unavailable.

Note : Taxis are limited to the city where you took them. For a city-to-city trip, you will need to rent a car, take a bus, train or intercity taxi (called a “Louage”).
